Introduction

We all go through periods when we don’t feel our best – tired, lacking in energy, and prone to the little aches and pains of everyday life. But how can we tell if our body needs some extra care?

In this article, I propose a little quiz to assess your natural well-being, as well as practical advice inspired by Japanese wisdom.


🔍 What is the natural balance of the body?

Our body has a remarkable natural defence system that works 24/7 to maintain our balance. This system is influenced by many daily factors:

  • 🥗 The quality of our diet
  • 😴 The quantity and quality of our sleep
  • 🏃 Our level of physical activity
  • 🧘 Our stress management
  • 🌿 Our living environment

When these factors are unbalanced, our body can send us signals. Let's learn to recognise them!


📋 Mini-quiz: How is your natural well-being?

Answer these questions honestly with Yes or No:

Sleep and rest:

  1. 😴 Do you wake up tired in the morning, even after a full night?
  2. 🌙 Do you have difficulty falling asleep or staying asleep?

Energy and vitality:

🟢 0-3 "Yes" – Your wellness routine is well established! Keep it up and maintain your good habits.

🟡 4-6 "Yes" – Your body deserves some adjustments. A few small changes in your daily routine could make a big difference.

🔴 7-10 "Yes" – It’s time to take care of yourself! Your body is sending you important signals. Start with small regular changes and consult your doctor if necessary.

Here are the most common signs our body sends us when it needs attention:

  • 😴 Persistent fatigue and drowsiness
  • 🤧 Increased sensitivity to minor seasonal ailments
  • 🤢 Digestive discomfort and lack of appetite
  • 🌡️ Slow recovery after a period of fatigue
  • 💆 Skin, hair or nails in poorer condition
